Jason and Daddy go to Da-kun Scenic Area

J bites off more than he can chew with this huge plate of spag bol 'n' cheese. 

Pomelo orchards galore. It's a wonder these big and heavy fruit can stay on the tree. 

The waiter gave J some paper to draw on and he surprised me with this picture. "Look Daddy; it's you!" It was the first time I had seen him draw a picture of a person so I thought I should record the moment. No help from Daddy either!  

We stopped at a restaurant on the way down the hill for J to feed his hungry face. Lovely cool air conditioning. A young man at the table behind us gave J this sprig of dragon eyes. 

K was feeling under the weather so it was just J and I who headed off into the hills of Dakun scenic area. Plenty of dragon eyes watching us from the trees. And plenty of evidence on the ground of people having munched said eyes along the way.

I saw a lovely mini sunflower growing next to a tree stump on the way back.. 

This pond used to be smelly and filled with trash and poo, and now it's a full of lovely lotuses that seem just about ready to flower.

It's Sunday and Lillian, Johnny their kids WIlly and Jocelyn went with us to have lunch and then we walked back through Chung Hsing Uni campus. Here's a nice pic of Jocelyn and Willy on the top of The Rock next to the lake.

J insisted on having his banana in the bath. The reason was that The Cat in The Hat can eat cake in the bath so why can't he have a banana in the bath?
